- █ Short cuts
-
- TechPlot provides a number of quick
- ways to choose menu commands. For
- example, the click-drag method is a
- convenient way for mouse users to open a
- menu and make a menu selection. From the
- keyboard, you can use a number of keyboard
- shortcuts (or hot keys) to access the menu
- bar and choose menu commands. These hot
- keys are provided by the function keys
- (<F1> - <F10>, <Del>, <Ins> on a standard
- keyboard) and combinations with <Shift>,
- <Alt> and <Ctrl> keys. If a hot key is
- available to a menu command, it is listed
- next to that command on the menu list.
- For example, the Exit command on the File
- menu has a hot key <Alt-X>.
-
- See "Keyboard.hlp" (Index: 3) for a
- list of available shortcuts for TechPlot.

- █ Scroll bars
-
- There are two types of scroll bars:
- horizontal and vertical. You may use these
- bars with a mouse to scroll the contents of
- the window. Click the arrow at either end
- to scroll one line at a time. You can click
- the shaded area (thumb track) to either
- side of the scroll box to scroll one page
- at a time. Finally, you can drag the
- scroll box (thumb) to any spot on the bar
- to quickly move to a spot in the window
- relative to the position of the scroll box.
